Sushupati LLP ("Sushupati", "we", "us", or "our") provides an AI-guided sleep coaching service (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have — including when you connect a wearable device such as an Oura Ring, Fitbit, Garmin, Apple Watch, or similar.

1. Information We Collect

Account information — name, email address, and any profile details you provide when you sign up.
Sleep and wellness data you enter directly — journal entries, sleep challenge progress, and answers to in-app questions.
Wearable and health data — when you choose to connect a supported device or platform (e.g. Oura Ring, Fitbit, Garmin, Apple HealthKit, WHOOP), we receive data such as sleep stages and duration, heart rate and heart-rate variability, respiratory rate, body temperature trends, activity levels, and readiness/recovery scores, as made available by that provider's API and only with your explicit authorization (OAuth consent).
Usage data — pages visited, features used, and device/browser information, collected automatically to keep the Service working and secure.

2. How We Use Your Information

To generate personalized sleep coaching, insights, and your Sleep Master Plan.
To power biofeedback, circadian tracking, sleep journaling, and challenge features.
To sync and reconcile data from connected wearable accounts with your Sushupati profile.
To operate, maintain, and improve the Service, and to communicate with you about your account.
We do not sell your personal or health data to third parties.

3. Wearable Data & Third-Party Providers

When you connect a wearable account, you are redirected to that provider's own authorization page (for example, Oura's OAuth consent screen) and you approve exactly what data is shared with us. We only request the scopes needed to power the features above. You can disconnect a wearable account at any time from your Sushupati settings, or by revoking access directly with the provider (e.g. cloud.ouraring.com). Disconnecting stops future data syncing; it does not automatically delete data already imported, which you may request removed under Section 6.

4. How We Share Information

With service providers who host our infrastructure or send communications on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations.
If required by law, regulation, or valid legal process.
In connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, with continued protection under this Policy.
We do not share your wearable or health data with advertisers.

5. Data Retention & Security

We retain your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect your data, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Your Rights & Choices

Access, correct, or export your personal data.
Disconnect any linked wearable account at any time.
Request deletion of your account and associated data.
Opt out of non-essential communications.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect data from them.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
